Many kind of bonding or coating problems, especially in the electro technical, glass or steel industry cannot be solved with organic adhesives and coating compounds.

The required permanent temperature resistances of +300oC up to +1500oC, depending on the application, are only possible with inorganic adhesives.

The CERASTIL products have the best all-purpose properties. High Temperature resistance, low water absorption, long working times and high mechanical resistance. Depending on the viscosity these products can be used as adhesives or coatings for many applications.

The CERASTIL Products are high temperature protection coatings against oxidation, acids and other organic solvents. They have a good adhesion on most of the substrates including glass-reinforced types which are expanding during cure are extremely suitable for applications where a certain degree of filling is requested.

Special merits of these CERASTIL products are especially their low specific gravity. By that the load stress on large areas with equal thermal laoding capacity can be reduced about 1/5. Moreover, these products show the best resistance at very low temperatures.

The CERASTIL V products have been formulated especially for electro technical applications. Their special advantages are low shrinkage, good acid resistance, low alkali migration and excellent electrical properties.

CERASTIL MC is a concentrated graphite solution with a 100% inorganic binder. This long-living coating for glass moulds raises the endurance of the moulds up to 3-5 times. The lifetime of the coating without cleaning procedure is 2-3 days. In any case the athmospheric pollution is reduced drastically and often even eliminated.

CERASTIL AE is a coating from extremely fine graphite particles in an organic binder on an aqueous base. It prevents e.g. sticking of hard metal to rams and dies during the hardening process, acts as anti-stick agents on moulds, etc. The cured CERASTIL AE doesn't produce any carbon.
