Material Suitability  

Penloc GTI is recommended for specialist materials as Alucobond, Stelvetite and Colorcoat.

Penloc GTI will bond most non-porous surfaces including

Steel
Powder-coated Steel
ABS
Aluminium
Styrol
Foamex
Copper
Epoxy FRP
Wood
Stainless Steel
Phenol FRP
Glass
Brass
GRP
Stone
Chrome
Polyester
Cement/Plaster
Nickel
Rigid PVC
Zinc / Zinctec



Penloc GTI is not recommended for use on the following materials:

Lead
Polypropylene
Galvanized*
Polyethylene
Rubber
Foams and Sponges
PTFE
Expanded Plastics

* Satisfactory results can be obtained on galvanised steel but users should carry out precautionary tests on samples to be bonded.

Moisture and temperature resistance
Penloc GTI will withstand normal weathering and water spray but is not recommended for prolonged immersion in water.

Penloc GTI will withstand operating temperatures from -55oC to 125oC.
